áṫas is the commonest word used in Munster; bród is usual in Ulster and Connaught.
§ 489. The word for outside, without, is amuiġ, older form immuiġ pron as if ammuiċ (ă-mweeh'). So astiġ (ăs-teeh'), inside, within.
