the 15th century tower of Callan Augustinian Priory

The little town of Callan has the remains of a 15th century Augustinian priory in town. Only the church remains, with a tall tower in good condition.

This is a historic monument, but the gates were locked when we arried and no instructions on where to get a key or gain entrance were to be found. So, only a single picture from the street-side gate. There are more pictures at Cloghmore's site.
