Almost nothing is known about Amenemnisu except that he is normally placed as the second ruler of the 21st dynasty after his father, Smendes. He was most likely co-regent with his brother, Psusennes I. He ruled for about 4 years. Some Egyptologists place Amenemnisu after Psusennes instead of before, which makes sense if Psusennes was the older brother. |
