There is an entrance fee to the Exhibition of the Book of Kells, and Old Library of €7.50. You can get a combined ticket to the exhibition and to the Dublin Experience for roughly € 12

Also, you can buy a cd-rom copy of the Book of Kells for all the images, from the bookshop just outside the exhibition. THer's also a ton of other stuff there, mostly Kells related. .
