view of the tower at Drumnamahane

Drumnamahane Castle in Tipperary is a large tower with three of the four walls partially standing. It was possibly only two storeys plus an attic, which was vaulted and had rooms and turrets above, although none remain. There is a secret room in the vault of the second story. The main entrance of the castle no longer exists.
