History

Sobekemsaf is fairly well attested -- espeically for the tumultous Second Intermediate Period. He left behind a small statue, sevearl rock inscriptions, a stele, and two small obelisks (although one is currently lost and the other is displayed in the Eypgtian Museum in Cairo.

Sobekemsaf II's tomb has been found in Thebes. According to documents from the 20th Dynasty, tomb robbers entered the tomb and found it unmolested and intact. It was, of course, emptied and little remained for modern excavators to find.
