The round tower here, near Blarney, is not an andient one - it's a very recent "folly" buildin the 19th century by by Father Matt Horgan, the parish priest.

It's a curious bottle-shaped sort of tower. While the tower and church are not that great, the view from the hillside is gorgeous, especially at sunset.
