Looking out over Lough Arrow

Lough Arrow, in south Cº Sligo, on the border with Cº Roscommon.The lough is dotted with many stone ruins and early stone monuments (many of them not marked on the OS maps). Nearby is Heapstown Cairn (much dminished, but still impressive), and Ballinafad Castle. You can rent boats and row out into the lough and see many of them from the shore.
