Tomb of Merenptah
THere are three corridors leading to the ritual pit or shaft. THey are decorated with the Litanies of Re and the Book of am-Duat. The first annex has two pillars and it dedicated to Merenptah's father, RAmesses II.
THe burial chamber has four annexes, two on each side and more of them in the rear. The chamber has an astronomical ceiling and has eight pillars. The walls here are also decorated with inscriptions from the BOok of Gates and Book of Caverns.
