History
Amenemhet is listed as the third king according to the Turin Canon,
although there are o monuments or other attributions for his reign.
The only hint that he exists is a broken statue that was found on
the island of Elephantine, in the middle of the town. The style of
the statue is quite distinct -- most notable are the large, protruding
ears on many statues from this dynasty
The statue is currently on view in the Nubian Museum and parts are
in Vienna.
He is also known by another name: Ameny Antef IV.
