Culzean Castle
It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and as we wandered around the grounds, there were dozens of families picnicking on the grass, or running around the gardens enjoying a dya out. The "country park" here is extremely popular.

Mark loves all things cannon-like, and we got a bit of a laugh out these mortars with all the bronze fish and shells. They'd make quite a loud boom, but didn't have much accuracy. We thought they must be just for show or ceremonial purposes.
