When the Pyramids were Built
I'm
a sucker for big, pretty photo books, especially art
books, and when they show up on sale at the bookstore
I usually take one or two home.
Once again, the content is a bit weak, and presented
solely as an adjunct to the photos of statuary and
ruins. But it is adequate to give you a context for
the photos, and it's a quick enough read.
This book also contains photos of many of the tombs, in detail. Some of these tombs are not open to the public, so this is a good resource for sights you might not see on your trip.
